Request admission into Sauce Guild

1. Character: Name of the character you would like to be joining Sauce on and your Armory Link.
Name: Dauphin
Link: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Khadgar&cn=Dauphin

2. Do you consider your self a team player? If so please give an in-game related example of what you did to make yourself raid productive.
I try to keep an eye on the healers to be ready to frost nova/sheep anything that is tagging them, keep to the back angles on mobs to stay out of frontal cleaves or tail swipes or anything else nasty the might spew.

3. Do you use everything at your disposable to make yourself the best at your class? Please give an in-game related example of what you did to be the best at your class. (Topping a meter doesn’t mean you’re the best as your class. Please consider this statement, as it is in the sense of what’s best for the raid at the time.)
on scheduled raids I make sure that i have all the pots i need, and dusts for Ai or snack tables. I try to be smart with my cooldowns and save for heroism or use them at the optimal time of my spell rotation. It does not bother me to take the job of blasting ice down on the last boss of toc, or do what i can or need to do for group success.

4. If you were to screw up in the raid more than once per night, or if your DPS/HPS was slacking consecutively. What would you do to correct this problem? Please give an example of when you did this.
When I was deep fire specc'd my dps was not near where i thought it should be, so i switched to arcane,, still wasn't where i should. So I researched a couple websites for information, worked with a couple people in guild, and got my gear situated with the correct chants needed to get my hit% correct. This did take me about a month start to finish, and now i think i'm close to where I should be.

5. If you have access to a WWS report, please post a link here.
I do not have access to this anymore I do not think.

6. What are your past and current guilds? Secondly, explain why you left each guild. (Even if you’re a server transfer.)
I was in Rose of Sharon, the guild broke up after the gm left, was then in Yarr (loved it there), again something happened at the top and they split into two guilds, I joined Damaged goods i have been there for couple years,, left them as it got to cliquie' and trying to talk to the senior memebers didnot go so well..was in Caretakers of Care (very small guild) great people. but the GM left for a bigger guild, and coldn't muster a 5 man without a great deal of pain,,was invited back to Damage goods , the Gm wanted to step down for bit,,on a deserved break,, gm traded hands, and now the raiding is limited to senior members with another guild..Looking to get into a guild that if fun and raids.

7. Sauce as a guild is on the leading edge of new in-game content. What in-game content have you experienced. (Both new and old)'
I have been in the leading edge since before burning crusades, in burning crusades was only missing sunwell plataue, and we were soo close to finishing the caverns of time when lich king came out,,I have gotten as far at rotface in icc,, not togc attempts yet, hopeing that changes with Sauce.

8. Even some of the best players have attitudes. Try to explain your personality in 3 or 4 words. (This question is relative, try your best to explain yourself.)
Laid back, fun, not a doormat

9. Do you have a stable computer and internet connection that will not hinder the raid progress as a whole? For the insurance of the guild, we ask you to put the simple specs of you computer. (RAM, processor, video card.)
Laptop, dual core Intel 2.93GHz, 4gig 1333MHz, 1.0g Nvidia GTX 260M, solid state
Desktop dual core AMD Athalon 5600+, 4 gig ram, 512 Nvidia Ge Force 9400, sata

10. What is your personal opinion on bagged milk? (Try to take this question seriously; it greatly affects your chances of getting in to Sauce.)
Wasn't sure what this was, looked it up and I like the idea. This would a greener alternative, and they better pass the manufacturing saving back to the farmers.

11. If you were to get a new piece of main-spec gear, how quickly would you have it enchanted/gemmed?
I try to keep some enchanting materials and gems on me in case i do get new gear, but if I did get new gear I would be looking to get it on asap, even if it ment porting back to IF during a break if you take them.

12. Even though Sauce is very competitive we raid only three hardcore nights a week. These days and times are: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; from 7-11 pm. Sauce has two separate ranks of raiders:

Raider – People that are positive they can make three nights a week of raids.
Reserve – People that can only make 1-2 days, or are maybe late a couple of nights.
Please state which of these positions you are applying for.
I am applying for a Raider position within the guild, I am finishing a class on tuesday night right now, but can be on by 8:00pm as a stand by if needed, about 6 more weeks of classes,,, unfortunatly soon golf league will be on wednesday nights,, should be able to be on by 8:00pm, willing to run 5's on any night that I cannot get a spot on the starting line up.
Thank you
D

looks like the writing's on the wall already, but I've been looking at the previous posts on the different mage applications, and playing around with the different talents, I actually lost about 200 spell power going with the extra distance and the absorption. Always interested in making a better mage.
