wish to apologize posted this poll for recent things I have read on forums. Wish to apologize for putting a closing date on it, but would like feed back.

tragik's picture

I left a situation surrounded by people I liked and just straight up said "I'm dissolving the guild" to them all (many of them now hate me) because they didn't take it seriously, would only show up for farm content and basically required diapers to raid (Thanks for WotLK's Casual Raiding Blizz).

I really felt that last night, Muzz, on our LK attempts. I completely understood your frustration because I was doing the exact same thing in CHS.

Basically, I look at it this way:

If I wanted to hang out with all of you, I wouldn't spend 4 hours getting hemorrhoids to do so. I would go to a bar with you, get shitfaced and puke on your shoes (what's a little spew between friends?).

I log in to kill stuff. Then kill more because it should be enjoyable.

Yeah, people fuck up, it ruins runs, causes wipes, etc.

But the truth of the matter is that I don't really give a shit how big of a dick you are. I'm not here to make friends (although I feel I have accidentally). And while I'm not trying to be elitist or say I'm even very good at warlocking, I will point out that nobody is more anal about every single thing going on in raid than I am......I have a the focus of a razor-edged chapstick.

Which is why now, when we've lost Rey and Rhodes, two big parts of this guild, we need to all collectively pull our shit together and stop acting like Sauce is some social club. Because the GM has made it remarkably clear, from the time that I applied to Sauce that this isn't the Rotary Club.

We will get shit done if we all stop whining about unicorns and friends and what not, turn off IM in Raids, and focus solely on the task in front of us.

Look at this thread:

Yeah I know, realm forums, ugh.

But across Khadgar, it is blatantly obvious that most of this server respects this guild in whatever exposure they've had to us.

It's why I joined. We just need to get it together and starting getting more cohesion.....and probably some focus and effort would work well, too.
