I have had two request as of now to start writing my own blog. If i do this i have a few request of my own.
1. Do not flame my grammar, i know it bad but i honestly don't give a shit.
On top of that I don't revise these things.
2. If you have a question you would like me to answer in my own unique way or a topic you'd like me to discuss please post it here, or email it to me at Looprocket@yahoo.com.
So ya that's about it. My first blog entry will be tomorrow. The plan is to write one every couple of days or so.

Second best news evar.
But that doesn't make me cooool.
Konty, what are your thoughts on the amount of time you should spend in your life doing things that you enjoy vs things that are productive to society?
In your defense, I can see where you're coming from.
Your question is deep.
The first thing you must consider is the definition of "productive to society". In my mind that means doing something publicly so better your surrounding community, or working free of charge for a foundation of some sort (Red cross, salvation army, Ect..). This could go another way of coarse, chores. Daily or weekly things that must be done around the house/property own by the individual. When exactly can you stop doing these chorse, but remain a productive member of society.
Ex. The person at the end of your street, everyone has one, that never mows there grass. Or the guy that has a fallen limb of their tree, laying in the middle of the street. Refuse to take care of it, because "it's the cities problem".
Between these things: chores, school, and volunteering, I send near 10 hours a day on average. Most of that being school (90% or so). That's 70 hours a week.
Sleeping = ~8 hours per night = ~56 hours per week. Most people my age would say they like to sleep. I personally find it necessary. Not something i enjoy doing.
Second you must consider what "time spent doing things you enjoy." Watching tv, hanging out with my girlfriend, playing this game or others, partying. On a daily average this come outs to be ~6 hours per day = ~42 hours a week
The ratio being 5:3 hours per week of Productive : Enjoyment.
The question that come to mind when i see that ratio is; Is it fair?
My answer would be "ask teyla" (ahahah) no really yes i think that's a fair ratio, and a necessary one to be successful in what you want to accomplish in life.
I crunched the numbers muz because I know you would.
Productivity hours per lifetime = 235,200 Hours
Enjoyment hours per lifetime = 141,120 Hours
Hours spent sleeping during lifetime = 188,160 Hours

Things that you enjoy and things that are productive to society are not always mutually exclusive.
But that doesn't make me cooool.
The hours in your math add up to 64 years of life. Life expectancy in the US is 77 years.
Most people spend the first ~14 years of life being completely worthless.
The more 'productive' (or stressed you are) the shorter your life span. Research has indicated drastic reductions in lifespan. DRASTIC.
Do you continue to be productive after retirement?
But that doesn't make me cooool.
Are we being productive now?
In your defense, I can see where you're coming from.
The 64 years is accurate. I figured I was worthless until age 6 or so, and i'll stop being productive after 70.
And muzzum, yes we are being productive. By talking about being productive, we are planing on being productive, therefor the plan of productivity is to be productive.
